& About Peculiar People

PeP was founded by Amy Michelle Wiley in 2005 with the idea of creating unique fiction by involving the inspiration of numerous authors. All of the collaboration is done over the internet, which allows PeP to be an international organization. We currently have contributing authors from the United States, Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and Thailand. Projects are completed every year or two. Each one is a little different, but all share the unique concept of a group of writers coming together to create one work of Christian fiction.

Orphan Plane project: This storyline is a twist on the real-life orphan trains in the 1800s, but our story is set in the future and orphan children are being sent to a new life on the space station Hemina. This book is in the writing stage.

Delivered: Postcards bearing the simple inscription, "Let me pray for you" have been scattered throughout the world. The cards find their way into the hands of those looking for hope, those who are reaching out to God and find that He is reaching out to them.

Novel Story: Struggle Creek is a Christian mystery and now is available on any online bookstore! When a string of strange events rock this small Tennessee town, the people must decide whether they will let it drive them apart, or draw them together. Struggle Creek was written by 27 authors, each taking the point of view of a different town member.

Heirloom Chronicles: I Will Be Found is a historical fiction collection of novelettes, following a wooden box carved by Jesus as it is passed down from one generation to the next. This project is in the editing stage.

Chat-A-Book: Secrets of the Ice is a Christian science-fiction story. Previously called Assignment to White Planet 8069, this fast-paced story follows four strangers who were sent to a far-away space station to investigate illegal behavior. Yet the secret the residents of White Planet hide is stronger than anything Group T19 expects. The rough draft transcript of this project was completed in March of 2006, and will eventually be turned into a radio drama and/or screenplay.
